Unitech Shyre designs and manufactures bespoke tooling and part jigging to suit a wide range of components and processes. Clip racks, lens racks, loading stations and component carriers are produced to hold parts securely through cleaning, stripping, rinsing and coating, and are tailored to the specific application rather than adapted from a standard part.
Unitech Shyre supplies the ancillary equipment that supports a precision cleaning or coating line, from clean-air component handling to coating measurement, storage and drying.
The Clean Air Trolley stores components in a ULPA-filtered cabinet, so that clean components may be moved from one area of production to another without introducing airborne contamination. UV air sterilisation is available as an option.
The dry mass balance automates the coating solids-content check. A coating sample is added to the balance, which evaporates the solvent and reports the percentage solids content. The method is more repeatable than manual evaporation and calculation, and returns a result in approximately ten minutes rather than one hour.
Hardcoatings may be stored for up to six months in a freezer at minus 20 to minus 25 degrees Celsius. For extended storage with minimum ageing, a freezer at minus 40 degrees Celsius is recommended. Unitech Shyre can supply this equipment as part of the coating system package.
