HC20 Lens Dip Coating System

Compact automatic dip hardcoating for ophthalmic lens production, cleaning and coating up to 20 lenses per hour in the smallest fully automatic footprint.

The HC20 is the most compact system in the Unitech Shyre dip hardcoating range, the smallest fully automatic dip coating footprint. It integrates multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning and automated dip coating in one enclosed, clean-air line, so lenses move from load to finished coated output without manual handling between stages. Its small footprint suits development, low-volume and specialist ophthalmic production.

Integrated clean and coat

Lenses are cleaned, spray-rinsed, dried and coated within a single controlled environment. The coating section runs inside a pressurised clean-air enclosure supplied with HEPA-filtered air, holding the particulate conditions that a hardcoat finish demands. Drying uses an infrared drier sized for the process.

Control and monitoring

Recipe-based automated control governs tank levels, temperatures and sequencing. Process monitoring and data capture record each batch, and remote support access allows Unitech Shyre engineers to assist without a site visit.
