Unitech Shyre

HC60 Lens Dip Coating System

Automatic dip hardcoating for ophthalmic lens production, cleaning and coating up to 60 lenses per hour within a single clean-air enclosure.

The HC60 is a fully automatic dip hardcoating system for mid-volume ophthalmic production. It integrates multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning and automated dip coating within a single clean-air enclosure, so lenses move from load to finished coated output without manual handling between stages. Load and unload conveyors allow up to six batches to be queued for extended unattended running.

Integrated clean and coat

Lenses are cleaned, rinsed, dried and coated within a single controlled environment. The coating section runs inside a pressurised clean-air enclosure supplied with HEPA-filtered air, holding the particulate conditions that a hardcoat finish demands. Drying uses an infrared drier sized for the process.

Control and monitoring

Recipe-based automated control governs tank levels, temperatures and sequencing. Process monitoring and data capture record each batch for traceability, and always-on remote support access allows Unitech Shyre engineers to assist without a site visit.

Options

Applications

Ophthalmic hard anti-scratch coating, index-matched coatings, and primer coatings for polycarbonate and pre-coated substrates.
