Unitech Shyre

HC200 Lens Dip Coating System

High-volume automatic dip hardcoating for ophthalmic lens production, cleaning and coating more than 200 lenses per hour within a single clean-air enclosure.

The HC200 is the largest standard system in the Unitech Shyre dip hardcoating range, engineered for continuous, high-throughput ophthalmic production. It integrates multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning and automated dip coating in one enclosed line, so lenses move from load to finished coated output without manual handling between stages. Load and unload conveyors allow batches to be queued for extended unattended running. Where a higher throughput is required, we design and build larger bespoke lines on the same principles.

Integrated clean and coat

Lenses are cleaned, rinsed, dried and coated within a single controlled environment. The coating section runs inside a pressurised clean-air enclosure supplied with HEPA-filtered air, holding the particulate conditions that a hardcoat finish demands. Swappable coating tanks allow a coating changeover without draining and refilling the bath, so the line can move between coating chemistries with minimal downtime.

Control and monitoring

Recipe-based automated control governs tank levels, temperatures and sequencing. Process monitoring and data capture record each batch for traceability, and remote support access allows Unitech Shyre engineers to assist without a site visit.

Options

Applications
