PC40 Precision Aqueous Cleaning System

Automated four-stage aqueous cleaning for high-precision production, processing up to 10 baskets per hour through cleaning, rinsing and drying within a full clean-air enclosure.

The PC40 is a compact automated system in the Unitech Shyre precision aqueous cleaning range, engineered for continuous cleaning of high-value components. Automatic X-Y work handling carries baskets through the process, so parts move from load to dry, spot-free unload without manual handling. Particulate filtration on every stage and a full clean-air enclosure hold the conditions that precision surfaces demand.

Four-stage precision cleaning

A typical configuration runs a heated detergent cleaning stage with ultrasonics, an intermediate rinse supplied with town, DI or RO water to suit the process, a closed-loop DI water rinse polished through activated carbon, mixed-bed resin and particulate filtration, and a dual-stage HEPA-filtered dry. Ultrasonic frequencies of 40, 80 or 120 kHz match the process to the substrate, and the final rinse is performed in ultra-pure water generated within the machine. A dedicated slow lift drains almost all water from the substrate surface to aid spot-free drying, and drain and refill control is managed entirely from the HMI.

Control and monitoring

Automatic temperature and level control governs each cleaning stage, managed from the advanced touchscreen HMI; drain and refill control is entirely on screen. Advanced monitoring and control options are available, and sleep mode holds average consumption below 1 kW between production shifts.
