Unitech Shyre designs and builds aqueous cleaning systems for the precision engineering and metal finishing industries, engineered around the specific parts and processes of each application. Typical work includes the degreasing of pressed and machined components, lifting machining oils, coolants, greases and fine particulate from the surface ahead of subsequent operations. Systems are compatible with both acidic and alkaline chemistries, offer full stainless steel construction as an option, and are built to handle varying levels of contamination to a repeatable, validated standard.
Beyond cleaning and degreasing, our systems support the wider finishing processes carried out here, including brightening to improve surface appearance and passivation to restore the corrosion resistance of stainless steel components. Each system is configured to the substrate, the contamination and the downstream process, whether that is inspection, coating, plating or assembly.
